i find myself wearing this jacket/scarf/glove combo at least three times a week. it's only fair that my outerwear makes an appearance on the blog...
and because you should know that most of the time i look like a huge dork...

i love this color combo, by the way. so lovely
I love the Herringbone look. Great Jacket! Black & White spectators (dressier) or even the "old school" stride rite black and white saddle shoes (casual) with the right pants and shirt would be super cool too. Just IMHO.
Oh BTW - I have a pair of those long luxurious black gloves too! (ARIS - Lambskin lined with cashmere) only I got mine in college - so not so old as your grandmothers obviously, but now I can see if taken care of they hold up well which is good to know!
i`m dying to find long gloves but here in mexico are imposible... kisses to your grandma...

kimmykins- yes! love the spectator shoes idea... ebay, hmmmm and yeah, the gloves have aged really well, right?
glory- do you order from the US often? I saw some really lovely ones at Bloomingdales and some less expensive ones at urban outfitters...
