men in suits

it's taken me awhile to grow up and admit that i love a man in a suit as much as i love a man in a great pair of jeans and a worn-in tshirt. there's just something very confident about the way men wear a suit (or any dress-y separates really). i'm guessing it gives guys the same confidence boost that a pair of great heels gives a girl?

that first photo is my favorite- I love that he's gone with so many colors and I love the mis-matched pants/ jacket

Suits are hot. I love it when guys wear them and incorporate personal, unexpected touches to reflect their individual style.

Oh, I love a man in a suit as well. Especially a young man because he is consciously going against what most males his age wear. It takes confidence to wear it as much as I suppose it yields.

kristin: i like the first guy a lot too. i find his mis-matched, no socks look charming.

generation next: i wish i knew more guys who wore suits too! i need to work on that. :)

danz: suits are amazing! the unexpected touches are the best.

TCH: agreed. it takes a very confident younger guy to pull off the suit. but i love it when i see it.

men in suits can look simply glorious if they are a good fit or well-tailored. if i were a man, a proper tailored suit would probably be my first big investment, what could be better??

old fashioned: absolutely! i think if i were a man, a perfectly fitting suit would be my first big investment as well.

Of course, there's also the high probability that a guy makes some $$ if he wears nice suits.

The thing I hate about suits (and my job requires them) is that it's so damn hot here in Florida. You can forget nice wool suits in summertime, which is why I'm glad they have a lot of modern suits that are more comfortable. It's hard to look confident when you're sweating your balls off all the time...come fall/winter, though, that's when it's nice to be able to dress up.

I have heard that the BHS Sale do some good suit offers. Buy one and get on free? or buy one and get one half priced. I have never brought one from them but I’m planning to buy my husband a suit without spending too much.
